We have used the most absorbent towelling available on the market to make this bathrobe.
It is the most effective way of absorbing water from bathing. On average will leave the horse dry enough to rug/ tack up in approx 25mins (depending on thickness of the horses coat) A real must have before shows!
Bathing our horses the day before a show or clinic is always risky because they always find something to roll in that leaves a stain and we end up washing them again. We find this so handy when preparing our horses for shows and clinics etc. It means we can bath them on the day of the show, feeling confident that they will be dry in time.
Simply squeeze the worst of the water out with a sweat scraper and put on the bathrobe it fastens at the front across the chest, there is a surcingle that goes around the body, a fillet string at the back and the hood is baggy enough should you want to give them a good rub, this fastens under the neck. All fastenings are Velcro.
The more you wash the bathrobe the more absorbent it becomes therefore more effective.
Other uses for the horse bathrobe:
- If sweaty after exercise the bathrobe will keep your horse warm and dry.
- Very comfortable for travelling in.
- Very cosy if the horse is damp.
- Because it is 100% cotton it will not be too hot either.
*This product is designed primarily for drying the horse and we wouldn't recommend leaving it
on overnight or when the horse is turned out.
